New to Aerial Yoga?
We strive to make our studio welcoming and inclusive, even so, trying Aerial Yoga for the first time can be intimidating. We recommend the following to get you started:
Foundations of Aerial: 4 Week Series
If you are new to Aerial Yoga or have been away from your practice for a while, we recommend that you start with our 4 week Foundations of Aerial Series on Monday evenings at 6:45 PM. This series moves in a sequential manner - starting with the most basic then moving into more challenging poses over the course of the month. By the end of the course, you will understand safety precautions, inverting and climbing techniques, and many foundational Aerial Yoga postures.
4Week Tween Series
Have a child ages 8-13 that is look for a fun after school activity that helps move their body and make new friends? Join us on Wednesdays at 5:15pm for a 4 week Tween Aerial Sling Series. Using our new swivel riggings, students will learn how dynamic movement can be when you add rotation to your practice. Whether your child is brand new to Aerial or has been taking aerial classes for years we will help guide them to gain strength, flexibility, mobility, confidence and endurance.
Our next series begins January 28th and runs for 4 weeks every Wednesday at 5:15pm. Signs ups close Wed Feb 4.
Start with a Beginner Friendly Class
Ready to jump right in? We offer a variety of classes that are beginner friendly. Look for Gentle, Beginner and All Levels on the schedule. These classes will move at a slower pace and allow you to get a feel for being in the silk. In most cases you will still have an opportunity to hang upside down and see how it feels in your body.
